Depending on which forecast I read, we could have a mild freeze tonight. I probably don't need to, but I plan on covering the fruit trees. I just realized that the lemon tree is much taller than last year, so now it will be harder to cover.
This morning, I picked ten lbs of the ripest lemons, and salted some, in the Moroccan style, and tonight I'll make another batch of marmalade. This time, with the marmalade, I'm going to skip the 24-hour soaking and add just the minimum sugar.
I just finished pulling up enough pavers for my newest project. It's hard work, so I've been pacing myself. The last thing I want to do is to hurt my knee again.

All the fancy-pants meteorologists were wrong. It's quite cold, down to 28F. Luckily, I had covered everything, and some sixth sense woke me up early, and I added light bulbs and heaters. The f*cking NBC guy was off by almost 10 degrees.
