The flowering almond is very lovely, probably a sign that I'm taking good care of it. I wish I could show the hundreds, or even thousands of honey bees feeding on the blossoms. The other almonds in the neighborhood look anemic, in comparison, but I need them to cross pollinate my tree.
I'm hardening off the older broccoli seedlings, because it's time to plant them in the garden. I'll try to dig out, and transplant, one or more bushes today. I did mow the entire property the other day, and that was a big job. I have areas in the side and back yard, and past the fence, that are not irrigated, but they sure grow grass in the spring. If I let it go, it soon gets to the point where my little mower can't handle the grass.
Pogi is mellowing out, and for the first time, did not act aggressively to the lawn mower, and seemed to like the newly mown lawn. His behaviors are a mystery, and another odd one is that he gets uber excited by taco trucks. Maybe they fed him when he was scuffling around?
