Saturday Update

Another big storm rolling in, and I finished mowing the north lawn as the sky grew dark. The wild grass is growing at a incredible rate, trying to complete it's life cycle before the dry season comes.

Halo has been sick. A few days ago, Pogi rolled in something evil, and needed an emergency bath. I believe Halo then drank a puddle of soapy water, while I wasn't watching, and got a belly ache. He then started eating massive amounts of grass, cropping it just like a cow would, and vomiting out huge green masses. After 24 hours, his stomach was better, but I think he irritated his throat while vomiting up so much grass.

He hasn't been eating much, and I think his dry food was hard to swallow, so I've been feeding him scrambled eggs. He's much better now, and will eat dry food again.

Coup In China?

There's talk of a power struggle happening in China, with military vehicles now on the streets of Bejing.

Hoarding

I saved a bunch of time and money by getting the slip pump spinning again, but I had to take it apart. Now it's time to put it back together, but I don't have any gasket material. I've had a brand new package, saved in my hoard for the last ten years, but I
just threw it away a few weeks ago, thinking that I'd never need it.

That's the last time I ever throw anything away!
