Sunday Update

I'm casting again today, and I've managed to do some more complex figures. There's a lot to learn, and it's learn by doing. The slip is always too viscous, so the large, complex figures take 2-1/2 hrs before they can be released from the molds.

The grass that I planted seems to have come up in patches.  It's been 11 days, so it could be done sprouting. Regardless, it will look better than bare, weedy ground.

Tomorrow, I'm going to pull out the first pea planting and immediately plant a row of beans and another row of lettuce. I also need to start peppers indoors and dig up some fence posts that I need to re-purpose for a fence around the new garden plot.
