No Avocado Flowers

My avocado trees had flowered by this time, last year. I haven't been giving them nitrogen, but less nitrogen is supposed to induce flowering. I just did some internet research, and flowering is really variable, and tied to climatic conditions, so I'll just wait and hope for the best. I'm not going to baby these trees forever, they're about 5 years old and should start producing fruit.
