Black Block Hurts More People, Now In Chicago

We had a number of people injured in SF by mobs of anarchists, and now it's happened in Chicago. People were bashed with hammers and metal batons, and a number had to be hospitalized.

Solar Eclipse

We're having a solar eclipse. I can feel the sun getting less intense, and in about an hour,  at the maximum, I'll try and snap a picture. I've  jury-rigged a shield around the camera, and fit a sunglass lens over the apeture. I know not to look at the sun, but I hope the brightness doesn't fry the camera electronics.

It felt uncanny when the sun dimmed, but my filter was not dark enough to capture the sun's image, so no picture.
