I shoveled gravel yesterday, and today, my upper back and shoulders are protesting.
The harvest is in full swing, today I picked eggplant, tomatoes, yellow squash and snap beans. The good quantity of beans could be due to the traps and/or the cat. I didn't see any half-gnawed vegetables, and each morning, at least a couple traps are sprung.

I'll have my twelve baby butternuts very quickly, and then I'll pinch off anymore flowers. I'm not too familiar with watermelon, but I don't see any obvious fruit. The vines are spreading like crazy, and flowering.

This afternoon, I take Pogi to a cheap vet clinic for a rabies shot. He's always good around people, but tends to act up with strange dogs. Let's hope he behaves.

I put a high-gain antenna on the roof and pull in a zillion free TV channels. The Country Music Network has its share of men with cowboy hats and nasal voices, but they play other things, too.

Here's Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) and Alison Krauss with a stark and spooky duet.
