Rain and Ram
Oct. 23rd, 2012 11:29 amI've gathered a little rainwater during the storm, so that was the real test of the whole rain collection system. My avocado trees have no more excuses now. I want them to thrive and flower, and start bearing fruit.
It took three tries to get a RAM upgrade to fit the new computer. The first time I got buffered RAM, the second time, someone sent me a weird, sketchy, low-spec substitute for the chips I wanted. Of course they didn't work, but the third time, the real thing came from a different vendor, and now I'm golden. In a few days I'm going to download the new release of Windows 8, and the Media Center software, and continue building an intregrated media computer.
