Oct. 31st, 2012 10:27 pmIt seems that it's impossible for me to download the 64-bit version of Windows 8. They chose the shit version and after hours of downloading and installation, I saw that they had it wrong. Get this: The only solution is to go to a store and buy a more expensive version, then remove the downloaded version, and reinstall my old OS. Then, after more hours and twice the money, I can get what I wanted on October 25.
Microsoft never tells you this clearly, but enough people are going through this that there are now on-line forum discussions.
On a better note, the last firing came out really well, and waxing the figurines gives a nice finish. I'm next going to try spraying wax, rather than applying it manually.
