Throw Away Culture

I just bought a new wheelbarrow for less money than a new tire costs for the old one. In the third world, I suppose that someone would have come up with a used wheel, and jury-rigged it to the old wheelbarrow.

I remember how my Dad used to try and get radios and such fixed, but it really is impossible to fix almost everything now.
