Detroit Schools Have Hit Rock Bottom

I was reading an article about some of Detroit's teachers taking the day off to protest Michigan's new right-to-work law. The article stated that only 7% of Detroit's 8th grade students are proficient in reading, and even less, 4% are proficient in math.
