Checking In
Jun. 13th, 2013 05:48 pmI've finished patching the new concrete tabletop. I've touched it up both yesterday and today. The way that you know you're done is when you run out of concrete colorant for the patching mixture. It's actually looking good, with a nice edge, and tomorrow afternoon I can start the grinding. I have a series of coarse abrasive pads to grind with, but supposedly I also need really fine ones for polishing, and the local home improvement stores doesn't carry them.
The yellow onions are starting to fall over, which means they're going dormant, so no more water and harvest in about 2 weeks. The bulbs are really big, some the size of softballs. The peppers beans, and eggplant are flowering. I have lots of little green tomatoes, and some young butternut squash that I'm going to pick and eat right away.
I've been working on the new business website all day. It's set up but now I have to think about text to get placement in search engines. I was familiar with the subject about 15 years ago, but I need to research the modern reality.
