I had to cut short the work on the shed when I came across a hornet's nest. It was inside one of the hollow steel crossbeams. I shot a good stream of gasoline right into the heart of things, and angry hornets began to pile out. Tomorrow, let's hope the coast is clear to resume.
The chemical burns, were from all things, a single Serrano pepper. I was rushing around the other day, and picked some peppers. Being disorganized, I put them in a pants pocket and them emptied my pocket in the kitchen. Except for one. I missed one, and worked for a few hours with it in my pocket. That night, I felt what seemed to be a scrape on my thigh, but it turned out to be a chemical burn from the pepper. It soaked through the pocket liner and onto my leg.
