Woke Up, It Was A Chelsea Morning.
Nov. 5th, 2013 06:02 amNights are getting colder, now into the low 40's, but I still have pole beans, tomatoes, peppers and winter squash out in the garden. Our first freeze historically comes around December 1, and I will pick everything just before.
I've already made umpteen butternut pies, and am getting good at it. Today, the final rows of shingles go on the kiln shed roof, and then it will be water-tight, and ready for the rains. Next, I'm going to try to fabricate a gutter from PVC pipe for the entire shed complex, to channel the rainwater away from that area and into the ground.
