New Technology
Dec. 5th, 2013 07:07 pmI have a couple of LED light bulbs, and so far, I like the quality of the light. They're much better than those "curly" compact florescent bulbs. Expensive, but they come with a ten year warranty, and one 60 watt equivalent will supposedly save $128 in electricity over its lifetime.
My old laptop won't boot into windows, so I'm setting up another, newer laptop. I need to add some RAM and load Windows 8.1, but it will be a generation ahead of my old machine.
I'm also kicking AT&T Uverse internet to the curb in February, as soon as the contract is up. I can get the same speed with DSL Extreme for $130/year less.
