More Dog Violence
Dec. 19th, 2013 02:48 pmAnother livestock attack, and I guess we saw it. The sheriff is being close-mouthed, but they impounded a German Shepherd that was killing sheep nearby.
This morning my dogs were intently watching a big German Shepherd in with the flock of sheep. I didn't see anything overtly aggressive, and I thought that the guy over there had finally gotten a guard dog. In retrospect, I think my dogs understood that something was amiss; that the dog was up to no good.
When I first got Halo, he would get excited and alert on things I couldn't sense. I would laugh and tell him nothing was out there, but of course, now I realize that is his forte. When he says something it happening, it is.
