Happy Saturnalia!

I'm reading "The Forest" by Edward Rutherfurd, a historical novel similar to "Sarum", but about a section of England to the east. I just finished a vignette about the conflict between the Puritans and Royalists. My earliest American ancestors were Puritans, who left England for New England, so I felt a point of connection to that era.

I have to get a truck smogged today, and already spent $220 to replace the fuel pump gasket. Pogi will get a bath this afternoon, when the temps are in the 60's so he'll be presentable at Christmas.
