Finally, A Little Rain?

A series of minor rainstorms is coming from the NW, and I'll try to capture some water for my poor avocado tree. The avocado is not doing well, but I could be surprised with fresh growth this spring. The new plum trees are doing so much better than the avocados have ever done.

I'm reading "Cuba Diaries" that details how people managed to survive in Cuba after the fall of the Soviet Union. The economy went haywire, and people had to be very creative just to get by.
