Wild Plums
Jun. 23rd, 2014 06:58 pmI've finished my own plums, and have been picking and eating wild plums. Some are even fermented! I guess wild yeast gets inside the plum and turns the sugars to alcohol.
Also dug out the garlic, about 35 bulbs, and now they're drying on a rack in the garage, giving out a pungent odor. I'll harvest the onions tomorrow.
Once the onions are safely stored, I need to prepare that bed and quickly plant yellow squash, as my final crop. With the pumpkin fields nearby, I may have bug trouble later on.
