Sunday Morning Projects.
Aug. 10th, 2014 12:05 pmI pulled out one of the volunteer tomato plants because it was shading the eggplant. It was a huge plant, the oldest one, but wasn't bearing much fruit. The cultivated plants are doing infinitely better. I'm picking 4 gallons of tomatoes every four days.

The fencing and dog-door project is complete. I'm going to let the dogs find the dog door, and figure it out. It's in the garage, and they rarely go out there. I'll bet Pogi finds it first, and Halo follows a day later. Poor Halo was not house savvy when I got him, he didn't even know how to climb stairs. Pogi, on the other hand, was obviously an inside dog until he went walkabout.
***********************************************************************
Pogi sailed through the door without a thought, but Halo is put off. He doesn't understand the mechanics of stepping through. He likes the idea, and is jazzed, but needs some time to overcome the challenge.
