Michael Brown And Friend Had Just Committed A Robbery

That's why they were stopped*. Even Brown's lawyer admits the robbery, and evidence was found on Brown's body. My guess is that Brown did resist arrest, and struggled with the cop. Very clear video images show Brown assaulting a convenience store clerk in the course of the robbery, ten minutes before he was stopped. This doesn't justify Brown being shot a distance away from the car, with his hands up, if that indeed happened.

I can't help but realize that we're being manipulated by the media. They report only what fits their agenda. Thousands of reporters were crawling all over this Saint Louis suburb, and not one of them could come up with such important facts. Brown's lawyer knew, I'm guessing lots of others knew, but instead we were fed "Gentle Giant" horseshit. Much of the information available is tainted, so it's impossible for me to gather any truth. One of the witnesses seems to be Michael Brown's crime partner, but it took days for this to be revealed. I'm disgusted with the lies and half-truth throw out by all parties.

* now the story is that the cop hadn't heard the radio call, and stopped the two for simply walking in the middle of the street.

Garden Update August 15

I'm a little disappointed with the eggplant this year. I struggled to germinate the seeds (and the second group of three plants never thrived.) I did get a moderate harvest from the other six, and successfully fought off bugs, but now they're stopped flowering. I'll get a few more harvests, and the plants still look healthy enough.

The Roma tomatoes are doing well, and I've got 23 quarts put up, and will pick again tomorrow.

I sprayed the yellow squash with neem oil this morning, and the first few squash are ready to harvest. I'm paranoid about bugs as helicopters are spraying the commercial fields nearby.
