Now Money Looks Funny

I sold my extra truck yesterday, after 4 days on Craigslist. The buyer was a Portuguese corn and hay farmer from Turlock. We finalized the paperwork at the bank, where I immediately cashed his check. I'm glad I did it that way because I don't know what real cash looks like anymore. Some of it was so freakin' colorful and odd looking.

Pogi's Job

I mowed the lawn, then carted in two loads of dirt to fill the craters that Pogi created while digging for gophers. He was watching me, and thought the process of me digging and moving dirt strangely familiar.

With all the pains I'm having with Pogi, I realized that he is doing his core job really well.

He's a companion dog for Halo, and is always doing interesting things from a dog perspective. I never have to worry about Halo being bored. Just now, they must have heard something, so they both went out to guard.
