Pulp Fiction Update

I couldn't get into either Dean Koontz's "Odd Apocalypse", or Steven King's "From A Buick Eight". They both were boring, with not much happening. Heavy on atmosphere, but not much of a story.

I'm reading instead Topkapi, a 1962 novel by Eric Ambler, about an Anglo-Egyptian ne'er-do-well, getting into bad trouble in Greece and Turkey.
