Terribly Hot Tuesday

I finished all my outside work by 11am and then the dog and I retired into a cool house, while the temperature soared to 104F. We ventured out again, for the second walk, about 7:30pm. A neighborhood chihuahua does a little dance when she sees us, and even walks a little ways with us. There's a spot along the way were dozens of little ground squirrels rush into their burrows when we get close, and that amuses Halo to no end.

I have an interview Friday where I will have to create and teach a 10 minute English Language Arts lesson. I also applied for two more jobs today, including teaching science at an alternative High School. I've done that a few times as a substitute teacher.
