Dogs, Horses and Sundry Comestibles
Jul. 17th, 2016 02:33 pmHalo just ran out to bark at two passing horsemen, and came right back inside feeling very happy and excited. We met not less than five wandering neighbor dogs on this morning's walk, but again, Halo loves that.
I grilled some country pork ribs last night, with a nice homemade seasoning rub. I just bottled the latest batch of hard cider. I primed each quart bottle with a bit of sugar to carbonate the cider. My next project will be 3 gallons of plum wine, but I'm waiting for the peak of ripeness before I pick them. This winter, I may brew some whole grain beer. I have all the equipment, except the proper thermometer and the sanitizing agent.
