Dogs And Plums

We met two of the pack dogs near the house, and Halo went into the silent stalking mode; the same behavior he exhibits when he sees a coyote. It's pretty unnerving, and they quickly left. It's good for Halo to get to guard territory, and run off leash, wade in creeks, and such. Some experts rate his breed as the most intelligent, and all this stimulation and variety are critical to his happiness.

I'm picking plums again, and have easily a hundred ripening on the tree. They are a really nice non-commercial variety called "elephant heart". I'm so glad that I planted plums.
