Cats and Dogs

 The 5th cat was again out there, ready for breakfast this morning. He was being extremely friendly, insisting that I pet him, which I've never done before.  I've hardly seen him for months. Very odd behavior, like he's suddenly desperate for a home. The three sister cats now seem to want me to feed them separately in the garage. I want them sleeping in the garage anyway this winter, where it safer, warmer and drier. They know how to use the dog door to go in and out.

Dinah barked at the Jehovah's Witnesses this morning, and made them leave. I just realized that Dinah guards primarily during the day, and Halo at night. Halo actually slept on the porch last night. Both dogs really love to guard. I didn't ask for guardians but I do have two very conscientious and effective guard dogs..
