Tomato Harvest
Nov. 13th, 2017 11:02 am This will be a rainy week, so I picked tomatoes. I came up with about 3 quarts of ripe ones, with plenty of fat green tomatoes left on the vine. I may not can this lot, but instead, make a big pot of marinara sauce, and maybe some fresh salsa. There's still no frost on the horizon. The peppers are ripening to a yellow color, and that means I will have viable seeds for next year.
