Everyone Knows It's Windy

We had a terrible windstorm yesterday, and a large part of a big tree broke off and fell into the front yard. Luckily, nothing on the ground was damaged. I had absolutely no idea that that tree was compromised and likely to fall. I also lost many young plums. Let's hope the wind is quieter today.

I'll need the chainsaw to clear the fallen limb, and the trim the ragged break on the tree.

Halo Is The Top Dog

With another big male dog in the house, Halo is pleased that I've rigidly maintained his status as top dog. Halo and I have awesome communication. I'm really fortunate to have a genius dog like Halo. The net result is that each of my three big dogs understands it's role in the hierarchy, and we have a peaceful and happy household.
