I was going about getting a prosthetic foot on the cheap. It involved traveling to a city block compound in San Francisco, owned by a Vietnamese extended family. They had a supply of human bones, and carefully went through their supply to fit me with new foot bones.

They found some skeevy arthritic bones, and told me the cost of the prosthetic foot, including amputation of my real foot was $60,000.

I realized this was nuts, and my real foot was really in pretty good shape, so I declined, and made my way back through maze-like passages and finally walked out to the street.

I was home again, and a tiny 10 inch-tall retarded boy had come into the front yard and was trying to feed pieces of bread to Halo. Halo was nervous about a tiny human coming into his domain, but thankfully wasn't acting aggressively.

I restarted a pot of Greek oregano today. The old seed packet was dated 2012, so I kept a pot going for six years before it expired.

Cali has a fat tummy, but I think it's a food baby. I hope she's not pregnant. As far as I know, in all the years she's been around, there have never been kittens.
