Runaway Horse

 While on our evening walk, a saddled horse came galloping up the street! When it turned towards us, the dogs and I stepped back into cover, and the horse passed us and stopped.

I walked the dogs to a neighbor's house with horses, and a neighbor came out and led it to his stable for safekeeping.

They didn't recognize the horse. I wonder if it threw somebody, and how far it had run?

The dogs found the whole drama fascinating, and didn't bark or scare the horse.
