September Update
Sep. 1st, 2020 03:44 pmIn August, we had some all-time high temperatures (113F), and days where the air was thick with smoke. We survived.
The garden, in spite of the weather, has been very productive. The glut of okra, tomatoes and peppers is waning, but it looks like the butternut squash crop will be heavy, as well.
I'm still unemployed, but getting benefits, including an extra $900 Federal boost coming next week.
The animals all like me being home, and get lots of attention. Even the feral white cat likes it when I talk to it. Halo and the yellow cat touch noses now. Halo, being a herding dog, seems to enjoy having other animals around.
