First Dreamwidth Update In Two Months

I have had a good tomato crop, and have canned 35 quarts of tomatoes. The yield is now diminishing, so I was thinking of picking what tomatoes are ripe, as well as fresh peppers, then making and canning a big batch of vegetarian chili. It might be nice to have a supply of "fast food".

This morning the dogs and I went for a long walk in rabbit country, and saw both cotton-tail bunnies and jack rabbits. Dinah especially loves to see such things, and spent her time on a game trail following rabbit scent.

I'm still on unemployment, and expect the latest $900 federal boost next week. I'm actually saving money on unemployment as these pandemic benefits have been generous.

My newest cat is a feral white cat, and he has claimed Cali's old hunting grounds across the road. He(?) hangs out with my other cats and eats here, and even sort of likes it when I talk to him.
