Archaeological Find Of The Century
Oct. 28th, 2004 09:11 pmI'm fascinated by discovery that another, separate species of humans existing on some remote Indonesian islands as little as 13,000 years ago. They were tiny people with brains smaller than a chimpanzee's brain, but apparently they made stone tools, used fire, and were successful hunters.
They were not Homo sapiens sapiens, as we are classified, but perhaps were the last vestiges of a more primitive species.
