" The concept of the rock-guitar solo in the eighty's has pretty much been reduced to: Weedly-weedly-wee, make a face, hold your guitar like it's your weenie, point it heavenward, and look like you're really doing something. Then, you get a big ovation while the the smoke bombs go off, and the motorized lights in your truss twirl around!"
-- The Real Frank Zappa Book.
I'm going over to my brother's for an official Thanksgiving dinner, but I just bought my second huge turkey of the Season at Safeway. You can't beat the price: a 23lb turkey for $7.88. The first one I roasted in the traditional way on November 11, for aa big party. This second one may be non-traditional, maybe BBQ'd with Jamaican spices or something.
Yesterday, I was negotiating on-line with some local guy who's selling a non-functional Apple Lisa 2 computer, but he seems to feel it's more valuable than I do.
I have a working Lisa2 already in my blossoming vintage computer collection, and know more about them than he does, and he's a noob.
