I never get what I want for Christmas so I stopped off at Big5 this morning and bought myself some things:
Hiking Boots- I need some strong and warm shoes for the winter. It's been a few years since I wore out my last pair, and I missed having them.
10X Monocular(little telescope)- I'm always seeing wildlife at a distance when I'm walking the dog in the canyon, and now I'll be able to get a really good look.
Heavy Wool Blend Socks- For the cold weather. If you feet are warm that's half the battle. Two pairs for me and 2 pairs for Dad.
Emergency Radio- It's a self powered radio (You wind it up) and a flashlight, siren and and 12V cell phone charger. I'll test this and then put it away in my earthquake survival kit.
I looked at the Russian Military rifles also, but I wasn't that impressed with them.
