My Thursday In Four Paragraphs

robbyWhen I water the lawn, I almost always use too much water, but the birds really appreciate the puddles. I get to see them as they stop by for a drink and a bath.
Two sheriff's deputies were out early on dirt bikes, and stopped me in the hinterlands, as I was walking the dog. I've never seen them out there before, and as they were asking me cop questions, Halo came back and quietly stood next to me.
I'm glad that Halo was calm around these cops and their motorcycles, sometimes he acts a little aggressive towards strange men. He's never bit anyone, but he would be savage if there were trouble.
The weather is still cool, so I'm delaying my watering of the vegetables and fruit trees. I've read that it's a mistake to over-water, so I'm being careful.
