That is an awesome picture. The kitty in front looks like a newscaster all out of breath talking about a plane crash or Godzilla destroying the city or something. "Please...hug your children tonight...may...God bless..."
It's kitty foreplay, which tends to be pretty rough. Years ago, I had a female cat who would sneak out when in heat, and disappear for a few days. She would invariable come back torn up and pregnant.
You could be right. Animals will "mount" one another to display dominance. I only let my kitty have a few litters, and she always had such cute kittens that I was able to give them to the local pet store.
That is the most *horrible* noise when they catch a bunny. Dying bunnies have this loud, agonized wail. I believe that's the only time they make any sound.
Yeah, I had two male cats who did the same thing. Kinda like the prison deal where it's like "I don't see any other cats around to fuck, so..." Now I have two female cats who just hate each other and fight.
