One batch of peach wine has started fermenting, and is happily bubbling away, and I'll introduce yeast to the second batch tonight.

I'm reading "The Well At The World's End", written in 1896 and full of faux Medieval English, which makes it fun for me too read.

This is the last day of our mini heat wave (Al Gore was right :o), and my evaporative cooler is working like a charm. You not read me whining about working in a steel building under beastly 100 degree plus conditions any more. It's the perfect technology for this hot dry climate. In the hottest part of the afternoon, when the humidity drops to 16%, the damn thing works even more efficiently.

have you ever attempted to figure out a way to do that? perhaps you could adapt a tesla coil to a hand-held assault weapon. if you do, i want one.
