I hate to be pessimistic, but I'm starting to believe that this recession will deepen and continue on for at least another year. Did you hear that The Donald missed an interest payment on his Atlantic City casino? People, if you have a job, try your best to keep it. Batten down the hatches 'cause we're going to dive. Be careful with spending, and try to ride this one out.

Don't make a distinction between the Republicans and Democrats. All the Washington insiders had a role in triggering this economic mess, and the fat cats can ride this one out, smoking big cigars and drinking only the best cognac.
