Getting High

The almond tree is budding, so it's already out of dormancy. I'm going to trim it today, anyway. It probably hasn't been pruned in five years and has all kinds of crazy limbs that must go. I'm also going to attempt some reduction in height, and finally to spray it with copper. This is all high ladder work, so wish me luck.

Editors note: Our hero pruned not only the almond tree, but finished all of this season's tree trimming without mishap. The almond tree spraying and wood chipping, however, must wait for another day.
