Halo caught his first gopher. We both saw the rustling in some tall grass, but he dove in, and came back with a fat gopher in his mouth. Two chomps and it was over. I was glad that he didn't want to eat it.

It didn't rain like forecast, so I got the chance to mow the section beyond the fence, out by the road. A couple gopher mounds, and if I bait them out there, they will never make it to the yard or garden.
