robbyThe neighborhood is full of blossoming almond trees. I see so many of them now that I'm always walking the dog. He's OK without a leash, so I can let him run in the fields, and be free outside the fence, as long as he stays nearby. He's good about coming back if he's called.
I harvested the first head of broccoli today. It was smaller than commercial heads, but that could be a winter thing. I have one planting that is maturing now, and another group that is still young and will mature in the spring. I wonder if this second planting, that will be maturing later, will have larger heads.
