Picture Wall In Living Room

The six small prints are my Dad's prints of watercolors by Floyd Hildebrand, the central painting is a still life by a Haitian painter, M. Etienne. The larger print is by Van Gogh.

I'm pleased with how this wall came out. My intention was to do all custom framing, but I didn't have the right clamps. I've accumulated plenty of stuff over the years so now is the time to get it on the wall. Hallway and bedroom are next.

Like the symetry, also the color and texture of the wall.

Thanks, the idea is to find a symmetry without a rigid, formal look. The wall was done with two topcoat colors rubbed into a lighter base color. It's sort of abstract art in itself, and a lot of work.

Thanks, I'm essentially done with this room. I want to avoid cluttering it with too much stuff.
