In The Near Future

My next project will be to add compost and roto-till a few spots in the vegetable garden, a spot in the front yard, and long strip out by the street, in the new sprinkler zone.
The sunniest spot will again be for tomatoes, and there is another partial garden bed for jalapeno peppers, green beans, and maybe Ichiban eggplant. The two spots outside the garden, will be for flowers. There were beautiful yellow annuals in the yard last season, and I saved the seeds, so now I can plant those flowers in a number of places around the house.
The winter grass that's already growing in the new sprinkler zone doesn't look bad, and last year's compost is not completely ready for use on a lawn. I plan on re-seeding that area with commercial grass, but for now, I'll hold off.
