Out Of Sorts

I've been feeling lousy in an undefined way since about Thursday. I thought I had maybe tonsilitis, but now I've got swelling and pain under a molar. I've been taking vicoden and resting up, but tomorrow morning it's to the dentist, and hopefully back to feeling normal.

Yes, I'm feeling terrible, and my first attempt only landed an appointment for next week! I think they'll start me on antibiotics.

I think I will need one, but this infection is a monster, and tomorrow morning won't be a minute too soon. I bought an over the counter antibiotic ointment, and I'm putting it around the tooth, just in the remote chance that it might help. I had some good antibiotics stashed away, but I took pity on a friend, with the agreement they would be replaced, which they have not. So, I suffer, and my face swells up.

It appears to be a fracture in the #31 molar, and a nasty infection. The depth of the fracture is unknown, but if it's deep, the tooth will have to come out. I've been on antibiotics for almost 24 hours, and my appetite is better, but from what I gather, it takes more like 2 days for amoxillin to kick in. I go back next Tuesday for more treatment, and today, I'm just staying quiet at home. I haven't taken any vicodin since Monday night, but I'm tempted to take one now.
