Garden Update

I'm happy to see that little tomatoes are now forming. It's been a few months without any, and I've missed them. Once you have really fresh vegetables, it's hard to eat the store variety. The second half-row of beans are popping up, and already I'm pulling up red onions to eat, even though they are not quite ready. I spaced the red onions more closely than the yellow, and that was a mistake, and now they are a little crowded. The bulbs are getting bigger by the day, and now I'm guessing June will be harvest time. I'll have a year's supply then, and the challenge will be to store them. I put out the peppers yesterday, and they seem happy to be finally in the ground. Eggplant might go out Monday. I also have two heirloom tomato plants and some oregano to put out.
