This sounds fair enough to me. I've met loads of gay transpeople.

Really? I wasn't being critical, but to me, it seems remarkable.

Yes it's a little unexpected isn't it? But several transpeople have told me that who you are is one thing, and who you want to be with is another thing. Actually somebody told me that *most* transpeople are gay! - but I haven't seen any statistics on that.
