Getting Through This Beatdown.
Jul. 7th, 2011 12:53 pmI'm half done the cleanup after the epic Nopales collapse. My hands and lower arms are full of tiny cactus spines, which I am somewhat immune to. I might finish tonight, if it's cool and I feel better.
Tomorrow, I'm going in to have a proto-melanoma removed from my forehead, and afterward I'll come home and read, and just take it easy. The initial biopsy was a nasty experience, with post surgical bleeding, and this next "flap procedure" will be more invasive, but they tell me there will be no scar.
It was 101 degrees yesterday, but the weather should be progressively cooler, starting today.
