Onion Emergency

robbySome of the stored red onions have started to sprout! I have the sproutees in the food dehydrator now, and as they flash dry, they give off a nasty sulfur smell. The littlest ones will soon go back into the ground to grow into big onions.
Editor's note: Once the onions have dried a bit, they give off a wonderful odor, like french onion soup. As I was packaging this first batch, I couldn't resist eating some dried onion staright out of the dehydrator.
